Regarding GFLOW
"Analytic Element Modeling of Groundwater Flow" contains many examples produced by the DOS program GFLOW. The program and data files (.dat) are enclosed on a diskette. However, few computers today are set up for running MSDOS. The latest reprint of the book, therefore, does not include the diskette. The original DOS version of GFLOW has been replaced by the native Windows program GFLOW.

GFLOW uses project files (.gfl) which are database files that are very different from the ASCII GFLOW input files (.dat) on the original diskette. Most examples in the text can be reproduced by GFLOW, but the reader has to reenter the data in the graphical user interface (GUI); you cannot use the .dat files provided on the diskette. Some features used in the examples are not availavle in GFLOW, e.g. sink disks and flow nets.
